About me
My career in content marketing began very (very) humbly. I started my first blog at the ripe age of 12, which segued into writing feature articles for online and print magazines through my teens and early twenties.
I quickly realized that my passion for writing was twofold: I loved the art of stringing sentences together, and I was fascinated by the people behind my pieces—their patterns, choices, and the motivations driving them.
That curiosity led me to a BSc in Business Administration with a minor in Evolutionary Psychobiology and an MSc in Business Administration with a focus on Digital Marketing at the University of Amsterdam.
I then shifted to tech as a result of the pandemic. Drawn by the speed of change, impact at scale, and growth within the industry, I started working with international B2B SaaS start-ups, software consultancies, and agencies as a content marketer. This is where I’ve funneled my joint passion for psychology, writing, and business over the past 6 years.
During this time, I’ve written content across all formats for every stage of the funnel. And while the breadth was great, what I kept noticing is that the content with the biggest impact—the kind that helps late-stage buyers move from consideration to commitment, or supports existing customers in expanding their use—was often overlooked.
That’s why I do what I do today: I focus on creating buyer enablement and bottom-of-funnel content that keeps buyer indecision at bay and gives B2B SaaS buyers the confidence to move forward without requiring constant handholding from sales.
Fun facts, quirks, & oddities
I’ve lived in four countries and had a one-year-long digital nomad stint fresh out of uni, so adaptability is my bread and butter.
During the Netherlands’ lockdown curfew era, I walked a marathon out of boredom. Except I didn’t realize how long it’d take, so I had to sneak up behind trees on my way back home to avoid being fined by the police.
I swam with eagle rays in the Galapagos!
I’ve been wearing red polish for the past 6 years and feel physically sick when I try any other colour (does anyone know what this is called?)
I’m a crazy cat lady. I spend my free time petting and feeding strays.
